Maricopa Blackboard is a collection of Institutions that have uniform management system to provide lectures online. They include:

The Maricopa initiative was reached to give students a wide range of choice and allow flexible programs for people committed in other fields. Someone realized that work schedules for different individuals needed to be compromised to allow studies to proceed at one's convenient time and speed. Students attending the various Colleges/Campuses can apply a single course system with one identity.

The Maricopa Blackboard is intended to provide learners with the best variety of quality studies, at the same time allowing them to do their studies with no pre-programmed routine. There are so many positives in learning through this system;

• One can create his/her own timetable without interfering with job schedules.
• Due to the variety of Institutions, there is always a large pool of studies to choose from.
• Online lectures are by far cost friendly compared to other media.
• Cross-referencing is made easier and that naturally brings about fully baked students.
• One can take up as many courses as they like, provided they can create time for each.
• Anyone can be enrolled, provided they feel equal to the tasks, e.g. a mother who has just had a baby will not have the baby as an excuse for not attending lectures.
